Im 6 weeks and not feeling any nausea or vomiting at all, while everyone around says they were throwing up like crazy. Now im a bit worried matlab is my pregnancy okay if I dont have it? Anyone else had no morning sickness?
Not at all, every pregnancy is different. With my first, I didn't vomit even once and had a perfectly healthy baby, but with my second, I felt nauseous constantly. Don't compare your symptoms with others, just eat well and stay active.
Honestly, I was so glad I didn't have much vomiting because I could actually enjoy my early cravings! I was hogging on pani puri and golgappas without any morning sickness. Count your blessings and enjoy your food while you can!
Actually, my doctor told me that only about 70-80% of women experience nausea or vomiting in the first trimester. It depends on how your body reacts to the sudden rise in hCG hormones. So if you don't have it, you are just one of the lucky ones, it's totally normal!
While not having vomiting is usually fine and normal, you should always check with your gynac during your routine scans to ensure the baby's growth is on track. Also, if you do start vomiting heavily and can't keep any water down, call your doctor immediately.
I stayed at my mum's house during my early months and she always told me that every baby grows differently. I barely had any vomiting, and my mother would just feed me light home-cooked food. It's not necessary to throw up to have a healthy pregnancy, so stay happy.
Listen to me, don't worry at all if you aren't throwing up. It doesn't mean your pregnancy is weak or something is wrong. Some women just have very smooth first trimesters, so take a deep breath and enjoy this peaceful phase, touchwood!
