I walk around 30-40 mins daily but I dont do anything else, no yoga or gym. Im 20 weeks. Just want to know if walking alone is enough or should I add something more. Whats working for you?
For most pregnancies walking is genuinely enough, it keeps you active without overdoing. I do 25-30 min twice a day. If you want to add prenatal yoga, just clear it with your doctor first.
My amma always said just walk and stay active, no need to strain. My doctor said the same, walking and some gentle stretching is perfect. Listen to your body and rest when tired.
Haan walking is plenty. Both my pregnancies I just walked daily and it helped with sleep, mood and even delivery they said. No need for fancy workouts unless doctor suggests.
Honestly with my schedule walking was all I could manage and it was fine. Even short walks after meals count. Doctor was happy as long as I was moving daily.
I used to worry I wasn't doing enough but my gynac literally laughed and said walking is the best and safest thing. So I stopped stressing. Just dont push to the point of breathlessness.
