Im in my second trimester and i walk like 40-45 min daily coz it makes me feel fresh. But my saas keeps saying itna mat chalo, baccha thak jayega. Is too much walking actually a problem na? pls share.
Actually walking is amazing, but too much walking is definitely not a good idea yaar. Mere doctor ne bola thoda light walk hi safe hai. Agar tumhara pair dukh raha hai ya exhaustion ho raha hai toh please stop and chill.
I am in my 5th month now and even I get so confused about this! I tried walking for an hour last week and got bad backache, anyone else felt the same? Now I just do 15-20 mins twice a day and feel much safer.
My consultant at Cloudnine strictly told me to keep walks moderate, like 30 mins max a day. Every pregnancy is different, so it's always best to ask your own gynac during the next scan. The nurses there can also give you a customized exercise chart.
Active rehna is very good, but don't overdo it yaar. Walking for 30-40 mins at a comfortable pace is perfect for most. Just listen to your body, if you feel tired or heavy, immediately take rest.
Keep a peaceful mind and walk slowly while listening to some good spiritual music or prayers. Excess of anything isn't good, so keep your physical activity gentle. God is with you, just take proper rest.
Simple logic hai, why do you want to run a marathon right now? Your body is already doing the heavy work of growing a human. Stick to 20-30 mins of normal strolls and don't make yourself unnecessarily tired.
I am also hoping to conceive soon and my MIL says we shouldn't strain too much during this phase. Gentle walks are fine, but maybe don't push yourself too hard. Wishing you all the best for your beautiful journey!
