I used to do gym regularly before and was lifting decent weights. Now im 9 weeks and not sure if i should continue or stop completely. Anyone here kept lifting during pregnancy?
My pregnancy tracker app says light weight training is fine if you were doing it pre-pregnancy, but heavy lifting is a big no. Better to track your heart rate and keep it moderate.
Please don't lift any heavy weights, it's not worth the risk. Having gone through a miscarriage earlier, I feel we should be super careful. Better to ask your gynac first.
With my PCOS history, I was extremely cautious and didn't want to take any chances. I avoided weightlifting completely and stuck to walking. Don't do it unless your gynac gives a clear go-ahead.
