Im about 6 weeks and noticing a lot more white discharge than usual, no smell or itching though. First pregnancy so everything feels new and i overthink everything. Is this a normal early thing or should i mention it to my doc?
Yes, I had more white discharge in early pregnancy and I felt worried it was something wrong. My gynac said its very normal, milky and odourless is fine. It actually reassured me a lot once she explained.
My MIL told me its common and not to worry, and the doctor said same. Just keep that area clean and dry, wear cotton. But if there is itching or bad smell, dont rely on home talk, see the gynac.
Mine increased a lot and I kept googling scared. Did others also feel it was more than usual? My doc said as long as its white and not itchy or smelly its okay. Just checking I am not the only one.
Mild white milky discharge is normal in pregnancy, hormones increase it. Both my pregnancies it was there. Only worry if it smells bad, is green/yellow, causes itching or is with pain, then get checked for infection.
