Is white discharge normal during 5th week of pregnancy?
Just hit 5 weeks and seeing more white discharge than before. No smell or itching or anything, but im a worrier so it scares me thoda. Is this a normal pregnancy thing this early? pls reassure.
According to my pregnancy tracker app, increased thin, milky white discharge (leukorrhea) is completely normal in early weeks due to high estrogen levels. The app says it helps prevent infections from traveling up to the womb. Just make sure it doesn't smell bad or cause itching.
It is normal as long as it is clear or white and doesn't itch. I always suggest wearing comfortable cotton underwear and keeping the area clean and dry naturally. But if you see any pink or brown spotting, or if it smells bad, please consult your gynac right away.
When I was 5 weeks pregnant at my parents' house, I noticed this and got so scared, but my mother comforted me saying it is very common. The body is just adapting to the new life inside. Just keep yourself clean and rest well, dear.
Oh, with my twins, the hormonal surge was double, so the discharge was also extra, lol! It is totally normal in the 5th week as long as it's not looking like paneer (cottage cheese) or causing any burning. If you feel any irritation down there, just get it checked by your doctor.
Haan beta, shuruaat me safed paani aana bilkul normal hai, isse ghabraana mat. Bas dhyan rakhna ki usme koi badboo na ho aur khujli na ho. Agar aisa kuch hai toh doctor didi ko dikha lena.
