Is white discharge normal during 6th month of pregnancy?
Im in my 6th month and noticing more white discharge than before, no smell or itching though. Thoda confused if this is normal or i should mention to my gynac. Anyone else had this around this time?
Normally it's fine, just wear loose cotton clothes and keep the area dry. But if the discharge has a yellow or green tint, or if there is any burning, please consult your doctor immediately. Don't try home remedies for infections.
Having PCOS makes us worry about every tiny symptom, but white discharge is quite common due to hormonal changes. Just make sure it doesn't have a strong odor or cause irritation. If in doubt, a quick message to your gynac is always safe.
It's usually normal, but if it's an infection, the doctor might do a quick swab test which costs a bit. I always keep a small medical emergency fund ready for these sudden tests. If there's no itch or smell, you can save that doctor visit fee for now.
I had a lot of watery white discharge during my second trimester, and my doctor told me it is normal due to high estrogen levels. Just wear comfortable cotton underwear and change them twice a day if needed.
I have heard from elder cousins that mild white discharge is quite common in the second trimester. Just wearing breathable cotton underwear helps keep you comfortable. Hope you are taking good care of yourself.
It's totally normal, so don't stress! Just keep yourself clean and dry, and focus on enjoying some yummy snacks instead of worrying. I'm currently craving warm jalebis, what about you?
I went crazy searching online in my second trimester because of this! But my doctor reassured me that increased discharge is just the body's way of preventing infections. Unless there is itching or foul smell, you are absolutely fine.
Yes, thin, milky, odorless white discharge is completely normal in the 6th month. But if it smells bad, is itchy, or looks like curd, then it's an infection. Don't sit on it, go to your gynac and get it treated.
