I have itching and white discharge and my doctor said it may be yeast infection. It is uncomfortable and I am worried if it can affect baby. Waiting for appointment, but has anyone had this in pregnancy?
I had it around 7 months and felt scared too but doc said its very normal. She gave a safe treatment and told me itching and discharge will settle. Just go get it checked, dont suffer quietly.
Its quite common in pregnancy because of hormones, so dont panic. But please dont self treat with any cream, show your gynac because the safe medicines change in pregnancy. Mine prescribed something pregnancy safe and it cleared fast.
Not dangerous if you treat it properly. I got it in both pregnancies. Wear cotton, keep the area dry, and let your doctor give the right medicine. Dont use leftover tube from before.
Mostly its not dangerous to the baby, it just needs proper treatment. The main thing is dont guess medicines yourself in pregnancy. A quick doctor visit sorts it out safely.
