Is yellow discharge normal in pregnancy?

im around 16 weeks and noticed thoda yellowish discharge since yesterday, no smell or itching though. just want to know if this is normal pregnancy thing or i should call my doc. anyone else had this?

My mother told me to wear clean cotton panties and drink lots of water. It went away on its own, so don't worry unless it's irritating.
