Prenatal yoga was lovely for me, it helped with breathing and back pain. But I only did poses my doctor and a trained prenatal instructor approved. Please dont follow random videos, get the safe ones for pregnancy.
Yes pregnancy specific yoga is good and it kept me flexible both times. The key is doing only the safe poses, not your regular routine. Always tell the instructor you are pregnant and check with your gynac first.
Generally prenatal yoga is beneficial but it depends on your pregnancy. Mine was low risk so my doctor okayed gentle yoga. Get a go ahead from your gynac before starting, especially the right modified version.
