The acidity has been really bad lately and i used to take zantac before getting pregnant. Now im 8 weeks and scared to take anything without knowing. Did anyone check with their doc about this one?
Please dont decide on any acid medicine on your own during pregnancy. Some older ones have been changed or recalled, so it really must come from your doctor. Call your gynac and ask which one is okay for you.
I wouldnt comment on any specific medicine honestly. For my acidity my gynac told me exactly what was safe for me. Pls dont take any tablet without asking your own doctor first.
My doctor was very specific about which antacid I could take and which to avoid. She said never to self prescribe in pregnancy even common ones. Best to ring your gynac and get the right name and dose for you.
