Doc gave me zifi 200 for a throat infection but i forgot to mention im 14 weeks. Now im second guessing whether i should take it. Anyone taken this during pregnancy?
This one is sometimes prescribed in pregnancy but only the doctor should decide the need and dose. Dont self start antibiotics, it matters which infection and trimester. A quick call to your gynac will sort it.
Antibiotics like this should only be taken if your gynac prescribes it, dont take leftover medicine on your own. Some are considered okay in pregnancy under supervision. Please ask your doctor before taking it.
I never took any antibiotic without my doctor okaying it during pregnancy. Even if it seems common, the doctor decides based on your situation. Please call the gynac before starting zifi.
