I was taking this for sleep before i found out i was pregnant, now im thoda tense about it. Havent taken since but i want to ask my gynac before continuing anything. Anyone had similar situation?
Actually, I have been having terrible insomnia since my second trimester, but my gynac strictly told me not to take any sleeping pills without asking her first. Did your doctor recommend this specific medicine to you, or are u thinking of taking it on your own?
Sleeping pills like Zolpidem are not usually recommended during pregnancy. Just like I had to closely monitor my thyroid levels every month, you must consult your gynac for any medication because even a small pill can affect the baby.
Sleeping issues are so common, but please don't take these heavy tablets during pregnancy. My saas always says to drink warm haldi milk before bed and listen to some light music instead of taking medicines.
My mother used to tell me to try natural things like chamomile tea for sleep, but honestly, you should only take what your doctor prescribes. If you are struggling to sleep, let your doctor know so they can give you a safe alternative.
