Its mango season and im craving it so badly, but everyone at home keeps saying it brings heat to the body. First pregnancy so im a bit paranoid about everything. How much is fine?
Beta mango is fine, but elders always say not too much as it is heaty. Eat ripe ones in small portion and soak them in water before eating, thats what we always did. Enjoy the season but in balance.
I had to watch mangoes carefully because of my sugar levels, they spiked me fast. If your sugar is normal then a moderate amount is fine. Maybe check with your gynac if u have any diabetes risk.
Mango season during pregnancy was honestly the best part for me, lol. They are totally fine to eat, just dont go crazy. I limited to one a day so I didnt overload on sugar, but I enjoyed every bite.
