I tested 3 days ago and again today, both positive but honestly the line doesnt look much darker to me. ive read they should get darker over days and now im a little anxious. is this something to worry about?
Generally they darken over a few days as the hormone increases. But dont read too much into one to one comparisons, hydration and timing affect it. If youre worried, just do a beta hCG test and stop the line watching.
My gynac said yes, in early days the line usually darkens as hCG rises, often if you retest a couple days apart. But she also said dont obsess over line darkness, a blood test gives the real picture. The kits arent meant for measuring exact levels.
I was that person comparing every test line side by side every single day, honestly it made me so anxious. They did get darker over a few days for me. But please dont stress over tiny differences like I did, a blood test settles it properly.
