Should sperm be washed after sex while conceiving?
My friend told me to just rush to washroom after, but i read somewhere ke you should lie down instead. Now thoda confused what actually helps when trying to conceive. What did u all do?
When we were trying, I felt so paranoid about every little thing, including whether I should wash immediately or keep lying down. I used to feel that if I went to the washroom, everything would wash out, but actually the healthy sperm swim up really fast. Just normal outside cleaning is enough, don't stress!
Please do not try any self-cleaning or douching as it can mess up your natural pH balance and cause bad infections. I had severe infection complications during my early pregnancy days because of over-cleaning. If you are having issues conceiving, please consult your doctor instead of trying home tricks.
Haan yaar, absolutely do not wash inside, douching toh bilkul safe nahi hai conceiving ke time pe. Normal washroom jao and wipe kar lo, but don't flush water inside na. Sperm automatically quickly inside travel kar lete hain, toh tension mat lo.

If you're thinking of the medical 'sperm washing' procedure, that is strictly done in labs for IUI or IVF. For natural conception, just lie down for 10-15 minutes after intercourse and then do normal external hygiene to prevent UTIs.
