We are ttc since last 3 months and i keep getting confused about this. My cousin told me lie down after, dont go to washroom, but honestly i feel like going. Is it actually matter or just myth? anyone who conceived can tell?
When I was trying, my mother also told me to just relax in bed for a few minutes afterwards. But holding your urine for too long isn't good for your health either. Just a short 10 minute rest is more than enough, then u can go wash up comfortably.
Oh, I used to lie down like a statue for half an hour thinking it would help, but honestly it doesn't matter much. Now that my toddler keeps me on my feet all day, I look back and laugh at how much I overthought this. Go pee if u need to, those little swimmers are fast enough anyway!
I am also trying right now and literally have the same question! Some people say lie down for 30 mins, but then I get so uncomfortable holding my pee. Is it actually okay to just go?
Yaar, don't stress too much about this! Just lie down for maybe 5-10 minutes if it makes u feel better, and then go pee. You don't want to end up with a painful UTI by holding it in, seriously.

But honestly, peeing won't wash away the sperm because they are already where they need to be. It's totally safe and actually prevents UTIs, so don't make yourself anxious over it.
