Should you urinate after intercourse if trying to conceive?
We are trying since 3 months and i keep reading totally opposite things online. Some say go to washroom after, some say lie down and dont. Matlab im so confused na, what did u all actually do when ttc?
Arre relax, don't stress too much about this! Just chill in bed for 10 minutes and then go pee. It won't affect your chances of conceiving at all, but it will definitely save you from terrible urinary infections.
I was also a bit shy to ask this, but my doctor told me that urinating after is very safe and doesn't stop pregnancy. She said to just rest for a little while and then go wash to keep away any infections.
With my PCOS, I used to overthink every tiny thing while trying to conceive. Honestly, peeing after sex doesn't wash away the sperm because they swim up very fast. But it definitely protects you from painful UTIs, so do go wash after resting a bit.
I remember googling this exact same thing a few years back, and now my boy is a toddler! Peeing after intercourse is perfectly fine and actually highly recommended. The sperm that has to reach the egg goes inside instantly anyway.
Beta, don't worry too much about all these rules. You can just lie down peacefully for 10-15 minutes after relation, and then go to the washroom. Keeping yourself clean is very important to avoid any illness anyway.
