Just found out im pregnant and honestly im a little overwhelmed thinking about all the changes ahead. Would love to hear from mommies what it was really like for u, month by month kind of thing.
Each trimester is different. First one is exhaustion and queasiness, second is when you feel best mostly, third gets heavy with back pain and poor sleep. Emotionally its a rollercoaster too, totally normal.
Looking back now it all blends into one big intense year. The physical changes felt huge at the time, swollen feet, weird cravings, crying at ads on tv. But it passes faster than you imagine and youre left with your baby.
Honestly so much, more than people tell you. The nausea, the tiredness, mood swings, the body changing every week. But also feeling those first kicks, theres nothing like it. Its hard and beautiful both, and youre stronger than you think.
Physically a lot changes but the emotional side surprised me most, I felt anxious and weepy out of nowhere. Just know whatever youre feeling is valid. Talk to people, dont bottle it. And if it gets too heavy please mention it to your doctor.
It is a big journey, body and mind both change. My family kept me calm with good food and rest, that mattered a lot. Listen to your body, take your checkups seriously and the rest unfolds naturally.
A lot, but step by step it becomes manageable. Tiredness early, more energy in the middle, heaviness at the end. The main thing is to rest when your body asks and not compare your pregnancy to anyone elses.
Oh where do I start, peeing every 20 mins, crying because the maggi was too good, forgetting why you walked into a room. Pregnancy brain is real lol. Your body does wild things but its all part of the ride.
