What all precautions to be taken in early pregnancy?
Just got my positive test, im like 5 weeks only. This is my first time so honestly i have no idea what to do and what to avoid. Can experienced mommas tell me what precautions u took in the starting months?
I used to panic even if I climbed two stairs in my first month, but trust me, our bodies are stronger than we think. Just avoid heavy lifting, skipping meals, and taking random medicines. Keep in touch with your gynac and you'll be fine!
Keep healthy snacks like roasted makhana or dry fruits in your office bag because sudden hunger and nausea can hit anytime. Avoid long tiring commutes if possible, and sleep early. Your body is doing heavy work, so rest is a priority.
Ghar pe mom and saas will give a long list of what to eat and what not to do, like avoiding 'garam' foods. Follow their basic advice of resting well, but don't stress over every little rule. Just avoid outside food and stay hydrated.
First rule: say goodbye to papaya and Chinese food cravings for a bit, lol! Don't lift heavy buckets like you are in an Olympic competition. Just chill, watch your favorite shows, and let others pamper you.
Make sure you don't do any strenuous workouts or heavy bending right now. I only did light, slow walks after my gynac gave me the green light in my first scan. Always ask your doctor before starting any prenatal yoga.
