What are chances of conceiving during follicular studies?
My gynac started follicular tracking this cycle and told us the days to try. Its our first time doing this after almost a year of waiting. Just curious how well it usually works for people, did it happen for you in the first or second round?
I conceived in my second cycle of follicular tracking, so for me it worked, but I know friends who took longer. Did your doctor tell you your follicle size? That seemed to matter a lot in my case.
From what my gynac explained, follicular study just tracks when the follicle matures and releases so you can time intercourse around ovulation. The chances depend on follicle size, egg quality and your overall fertility. So it doesnt fix a single number, it just helps you hit the right window.
With my PCOS I did these scans for a few cycles. I dont want to give you false hope with a percentage, it really varies person to person. But the studies genuinely help you understand your cycle, so it is a good step. Trust your doctors guidance on timing.
I did follicular monitoring before my treatment, and the whole point of it is to time things better, so it actually improves your chances rather than reducing them. The exact percentage depends on your age and reports though. Your doctor can give you a realistic idea for your case.
We just started follicular studies too, so I am also learning. From what I gathered it improves the timing which helps the chances, but the doctor said it differs for everyone. Wishing you good news soon.
