What are reasons for missed periods other than pregnancy?
My period is late by almost 2 weeks but the test came negative twice. Now im confused na, if not pregnancy then what else can cause this? Has this happened to anyone here?
Oh, many things can cause a missed period besides pregnancy! For me, PCOS was a big factor, which can really mess with your cycle. Stress, sudden weight changes (loss or gain), and thyroid issues are also common culprits. It's always best to check with your gynac if it's a regular thing or keeps happening.
Beyond pregnancy, there are several medical reasons for a missed period. These can include hormonal imbalances like PCOS or thyroid dysfunction, significant stress, drastic weight fluctuations, or certain medications. It is advisable to consult your gynaecologist for a proper diagnosis and appropriate guidance.
After delivery, my periods were all over the place, it was so confusing sometimes. Before pregnancy too, stress could delay mine by weeks. So many things can affect our cycles beyond just pregnancy. It's normal to worry, but sometimes it's just our bodies reacting to life's changes.
Haha, if only it was always pregnancy! My periods used to go on a vacation sometimes because of stress or even just changing my routine too much. Also, thyroid issues or PCOS can be big reasons. If it keeps happening, doc ko dikha do, don't just guess!
Mine got missed a lot due to stress before I got pregnant! And after delivery, they are still not regular because of breastfeeding and hormones. So many things like hormones, diet changes, or even just being too tired can cause it. If you're concerned, definitely talk to your doctor.
