I noticed tiny extra skin near my neck and underarm after pregnancy started. They are not painful, just annoying and new. Did anyone get these small skin tags?
They are small benign growths of skin, very common when you are expecting. Nothing to worry about. If one changes colour or grows fast though, just show it to your doctor to be safe.
My dermatologist said skin tags are common in pregnancy due to hormonal shifts and friction, those small hanging bits of skin. She advised leaving them alone during pregnancy and getting them removed later only if they bother you.
Those tiny soft skin flaps that pop up on the neck, underarms or under the breasts. Hormones cause them in pregnancy. Totally harmless, and many shrink or fall off after delivery. Dont pull or cut them yourself.
I got a couple on my neck and freaked out thinking something was wrong. Turned out theyre just harmless skin tags from the hormones. I felt so silly worrying after the doctor reassured me.
