What are the benefits of kiwi fruit during pregnancy?
My gynac mentioned kiwi once for platelets or something and now im seeing it everywhere. I actually like the taste so wanted to know what all good it does in pregnancy. Do u all eat it regularly?
Kiwi is loaded with vitamin C and folate which is great in pregnancy, my tracker app recommended it. The vitamin C also helps you absorb iron better. I had one most days, just wash it well.
Honestly kiwi was so refreshing when I was bored of regular fruits. Tangy and sweet, satisfied my snacky cravings. Bonus that its actually good for you and the baby.
I added kiwi to my breakfast for fibre and immunity, felt it kept my digestion smooth. Along with my doctor approved walk it kept me feeling fresh. Nice light fruit that isnt heavy on the tummy.
