What are the causes of back pain in early pregnancy?
Im around 8 weeks and already my lower back is paining thoda thoda. I thought back pain comes later when pet grows na, so why so early? Anyone else felt this in starting months?
Yaar, back pain in first trimester is so annoying, actually mere saath bhi yahi hua tha. I think body changes and stretching is the main reason. Just don't lift heavy stuff and take it easy.
Because of my PCOS, I was always extra scared of any symptom in early weeks. My doctor said mild back pain is just the uterus expanding. But if there is any cramping or spotting with it, please call your clinic immediately.
For me, back pain started very early, around 6th week itself. I just used to rest a lot and lie down on my side with a pillow between my knees. It went away slowly in second trimester, but honestly I didn't take any medicines or anything.
Actually doctor told me that hormonal changes like relaxin hormone relaxes the ligaments, which causes this. She also said our posture changes even before we show. Better to avoid standing for long and check with your doc if it gets too severe.
Whenever I felt any back pain, I immediately called my hospital care coordinator and they put me through to the duty doctor. They suggested gentle stretches but told me to come in if it doesn't settle. Better to ask your gynac team directly for peace of mind.
Oh God, I am in my 8th week right now and my lower back is constantly aching! Is it normal to feel this even if we are resting? Please share if you find any safe way to get some relief.
With twins, my back was screaming from day one itself, double weight double trouble! Honestly your body is just adjusting to the madness inside. Just put your feet up and make your husband do all the work now!
I had bad back pain in early weeks too and got so scared initially. Now in my 5th month it is better, but did anyone else also feel it mostly on one side? Hope everything is fine with you.
