What are the chances of pregnancy before ovulation?
Trying to understand my cycle better this month. We were together couple days before my ovulation date as per the app. Just wondering how likely it is to conceive from that, anyone got pregnant this way?

My tracker showed the highest chance was 2 to 3 days before ovulation, because sperm waits for the egg. So yes, before ovulation chances are actually quite high. The app explained this fertile window really clearly.
I read that sperm can survive up to about 5 days, so being together in the days before ovulation actually has good chances. The few days leading up to ovulation are the fertile window. I tracked it to plan our timing.
Because of PCOS my ovulation day was never fixed, so the before window was hard to judge. If your cycles are irregular like mine were, dont stress about exact days. Tracking ovulation with a kit or scan helped me figure it out better.
