I have PCOS and cycles are irregular, so every month feels like guessing game. We have started trying and I am scared it will take very long. Did anyone conceive naturally with PCOS?
My doctor explained that with PCOS the main issue is irregular ovulation, but many women conceive, sometimes naturally and sometimes with treatment to help ovulation. She said weight, diet and follow up all help. Best to get a proper assessment from a gynac.
I have PCOS and I did conceive, so please dont lose hope. It can take a bit longer because ovulation is irregular, but it's very possible. Working with a good gynac made the biggest difference for me.
PCOS doesnt mean no, it just sometimes means a longer road. My friend with PCOS conceived with some help from her doctor. Whatever path it takes, dont be hard on urself, ok? Sending love.
From what helped people I know with PCOS, managing weight with walks and balanced eating improved their chances. Of course do whatever ur doctor advises, but lifestyle does seem to help.
Chances are definitely there, it may just need patience and sometimes doctor's help to regularise ovulation. Don't compare ur timeline to others. A fertility-aware gynac is worth seeing if it's taking time.
