What are the dry fruits to be taken during pregnancy?
Just entered second trimester and my MIL keeps giving me different dry fruits saying its good for baby. I want to know which ones are actually best to have everyday. Pls share what you all eat.
Dry fruits are healthy but they are also high in sugar and calories, so I had to be careful with my GD. My dietician gave me a fixed small amount. So please check the quantity with your doctor if your sugar needs watching.
Beta we always gave almonds, walnuts and a few soaked kishmish to expecting mothers. Soak the almonds overnight and have them in the morning, its easier on the tummy. Just keep the quantity small, mutthi bhar is enough.
Almonds, walnuts, dates and a few cashews are all good in moderation. I had a small handful daily for energy and iron. Dates especially helped me in the last trimester, but ask your gynac about quantity.
