Me and hubby just started trying this month and im already overthinking it. Realistically how likely is it to happen in one cycle? Some friends took months so trying to keep my expectations real.
We just started trying and I didnt realise it can take several months even when everything is fine. Reading that the monthly chance isnt very high actually made me feel less anxious. So I am trying to relax and not expect it instantly.
My doc said for a healthy couple its roughly 20-25% chance each cycle when timing is right around ovulation. Most couples conceive within a year of trying. If its been over a year, then a checkup is worth doing to rule out any issue.
I read the same, around one in four or five per cycle with good timing. The ovulation window is the key bit. Tracking it helped me understand my body better even before we started seriously trying.
Dont stress too much about the numbers yaar, stress itself doesnt help. Just enjoy the process and let it happen. Most couples get there within a year, so be patient with yourselves.
