What are the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy?
First time pregnant and honestly my body feels like its doing a hundred things at once, some stuff i didnt even expect. Curious to understand whats actually happening inside, like what all changes step by step. Would love if someone could share what they went through.
Apart from the usual ones, hormones can affect your thyroid too, mine got disturbed during pregnancy. So please do the routine blood tests your doctor suggests, dont skip them. Many internal changes you cant even feel.
Body changes a lot beta. Stomach grows, you feel sleepy, food habits change. My mother used to say body becomes soft and slow so baby grows well. Just eat proper and rest.
I keep noticing new things almost weekly, like more frequent peeing and the tiredness. Is the breathlessness also part of it? My doc said yes but i still wanted to ask others here.
There are so many actually. My gynac explained blood volume increases a lot, heart works harder, hormones shoot up, and the uterus expands obviously. She said thats why we feel tired and breathless sometimes, its all the body adjusting.
Everything changes honestly, from digestion to skin to mood. I had slower digestion both times so acidity was constant. Joints loosen up too towards the end, thats normal.
Think of it as the whole body quietly making room for the baby. Blood, hormones, organs all shift a little. It feels overwhelming but its your body doing its job beautifully.
Loads of changes happen, hormonal and physical both. Best to ask your doctor about what to expect for your specific stage, they explain it nicely with each visit. The trimester wise changes are quite different.
