What are the signs and symptoms of pregnancy induced hypertension?
Im in my third trimester and my BP was slightly high last visit, gynac told me to keep watching it. Now im a bit worried so wanted to know what symptoms i should look out for. Pls share if u went through this.
For me, with PCOS, my doctor was always extra vigilant about my blood pressure. Signs of pregnancy-induced hypertension can be things like really bad headaches, sudden swelling in your face or hands, blurry vision, or even upper abdominal pain. It's crucial not to self-diagnose and consult your doctor immediately if you notice any of these. Better safe than sorry, always.
Honestly, for something as serious as pregnancy-induced hypertension, you shouldn't rely on internet advice. At my hospital, the doctors and nurses were very clear that if you experience sudden severe headaches, changes in vision, swelling in hands/face, or pain under your ribs, you need to call them immediately. Don't hesitate to ask your doc or the hospital staff directly, they are there to help.
Haan ji, yeh hypertension na, bahut darr lagta hai isse. Meri bhabhi ko hua tha. Symptoms mein na, sir mein bahut tez dard hota hai jo jata nahi, haath pair mein, khaaskar chehre pe achanak sujan aa jati hai, ya phir aankhon mein thoda blur sa dikhta hai. Agar aisa kuch bhi lage, beta, seedha apne gynac ko phone karna, theek hai na?
Oh, worrying about symptoms is such a big part of pregnancy, isn't it? Hypertension can be serious, so don't ignore any signs. Things like severe headache that won't go away, sudden swelling in your hands or face, vision changes, or pain in your upper belly are definitely red flags. Pls check with your doc right away if u feel any of this, don't wait.
Hypertension? Ugh, another thing to worry about when you're already just trying to stay awake! Yeah, it's serious. My doc said watch out for really bad headaches, seeing spots, or sudden swelling in your hands or face. Also, if you get pain right below your ribs. If anything like that happens, drop everything and call your doc! Seriously, don't wait.
