What are the symptoms of labour pain during pregnancy?
Im 36 weeks now and this is my first baccha so honestly i have no idea what real labour feels like. Scared i wont recognise it or confuse it with normal pain. How did u know it was the real thing? pls share.
Okay, so actual labour pain is different from Braxton Hicks. It will usually be regular, gets stronger, and doesn't go away when you change positions. You might also have a bloody show or your water breaking. Don't wait too long, call your doc when you feel it getting intense and regular – every 5 mins for an hour, usually.
Oh god, I've been googling this like crazy, hoping I don't miss it or mistake a bad tummy ache for it! Everyone says you'll 'just know', but my brain is so foggy these days. I'm just hoping for a clear sign, like my water breaking in a dramatic splash or something. My body better give me a clear signal, not some subtle hint!
Oh god, I freaked out so many times thinking 'Is this it?!' Labour pain feels like really intense period cramps, but they get stronger and closer together. It won't feel like just a discomfort, it's a 'can't talk through it' kind of pain. But don't worry, you'll know when it's real, trust your body!
For me, it started with a dull backache that slowly moved to my abdomen, getting stronger and coming in waves. It definitely felt different from any other pain. Your water might break, or you might see a mucous plug. Just try to stay calm and keep breathing through it, you've got this!
From what I experienced, real labour pains were really strong contractions that kept getting closer and more intense. They were unlike anything I'd felt before. My doctor had given me clear instructions on when to call her based on the frequency of contractions. It's best to discuss this with your own gynac.
With twins, I was always on high alert! Labour pain for me felt like super strong period cramps that just wouldn't quit, and they were very rhythmic. Plus, a feeling of pressure down there. And yeah, my water broke like in the movies, so that was pretty obvious! You'll definitely know, trust me.
Yaar, labour pain is no joke, actually. It's not like the Braxton Hicks jo aate jaate rehte hain. Real contractions, they're intense, they're regular, and they just keep coming closer. And thoda backache bhi hota hai. Agar pani leak ho ya bleeding ho, toh seedha hospital jaao, no waiting!
