What are the symptoms of morning sickness in early pregnancy?
Just found out im pregnant and everyone keeps talking about morning sickness. Honestly not sure what all counts as that, like is it only vomiting or feeling weird whole day too? Pls share what u all felt.
Hi beta, morning sickness is basically nausea and sometimes vomiting, which can happen at any time of day, not just mornings. You might feel really tired, have strong aversions to certain foods or smells, or just feel generally unwell. It can range from mild discomfort to quite severe. Just rest when you can.
My doctor explained that morning sickness is primarily caused by the rapid rise in hormones like hCG and estrogen. Symptoms include persistent nausea, often accompanied by vomiting, increased sensitivity to smells, food aversions, and extreme fatigue. It often peaks between 8-10 weeks and usually subsides by the second trimester, but can sometimes last longer. It's not just in the morning, unfortunately!
Typically, morning sickness presents as nausea, which can be mild or severe, with or without vomiting. Many women also experience strong aversions to certain foods or smells, and general fatigue. The main concern is staying hydrated, especially if you're vomiting frequently. Small, bland meals often help.
Beta, these symptoms are a sign of the new life growing within you. Nausea and feeling unwell, sometimes vomiting, food aversions are common. Have patience and remember to stay positive. Pray and take good care of yourself. This too shall pass, by God's grace.
Oh, morning sickness... it's not just in the morning for many of us, haan. For me it was literally all day nausea, feeling like throwing up but sometimes just retching. Certain smells would trigger it badly. It's tough, but it eventually passed for me, usually around 12-14 weeks. Stay strong, mama!
Main symptoms toh yahi hai - nausea, vomiting, chakkar aana, aur kuch khaane ka mann nahi karna. Especially certain smells se bahut trigger hota hai. Meri mummy kehti thi thoda nimbu pani ya adrak wali chai peeyo. Small frequent meals lo. Bahut mushkil hota hai but nikal jaata hai time.
Morning sickness is common, but if it's extreme, like you can't keep anything down, or you're feeling very weak, please tell your doctor. I remember my gynac checking if it was hyperemesis gravidarum. It can sometimes be linked to other things like thyroid too, so it's good to keep your doc updated.
