I just found out and suddenly everyone at home has a different list of what not to do. Some say no papaya, no stairs, no outside food, and now I am scared of everything. What did your gynac actually ask you to avoid?
Beta many elders say avoid raw papaya and too much pineapple early on, and that does no harm to skip. Mainly avoid lifting heavy things and getting overtired, take rest properly.
Honestly dont let the avoid list scare you yaar. Skip booze, smoke, raw stuff and random meds, take rest, and dont stress too much. You are not as fragile as people make you feel.
Avoid smoking, alcohol, raw or half cooked food, and dont take any medicine on your own without asking doc. Also no heavy lifting. Rest of life can mostly go on normally.
Besides the usual, avoid ignoring warning signs. If you get bleeding, strong cramps or high fever in early pregnancy, dont wait it out, call your gynac immediately. Better safe.
I was so scared in early weeks about everything. I avoided papaya, heavy travel and that gym class I used to do. Did anyone else also just play extra safe in the first 3 months?
My doctor listed no alcohol/smoking, avoid raw eggs, unpasteurised milk and undercooked meat for infection risk, limit caffeine, and never self medicate. She said normal home food and gentle activity are totally fine.
