What blood pressure medicine is safe during pregnancy?
I have BP issue from before pregnancy and was taking tablets regularly. Now im 6 weeks and worried if my usual medicine is ok or not for the baby. Planning to ask my gynac this week but wanted to hear if any of u faced same.
This kind of medical advice, especially about BP, you should only get from your gynac, not from forums. Taking wrong medicine can be very risky. Your doctor will suggest the right one, even if it might be a bit more expensive, it's crucial for your health and the baby's.
For blood pressure, medicine is something only your doctor can prescribe and monitor, please don't take anything yourself. Maybe light walking or pregnancy yoga, if your gynac approves, can help manage it. But medication, definitely only through a doc.
Please, please, do not ask this question on a forum. Blood pressure during pregnancy can be very serious, and only your doctor can tell you which medicine is safe after examining you properly. I had complications, so I can tell you how vital it is to follow medical advice strictly.
Medicines during pregnancy are a very sensitive topic, na. You must consult your gynac for any BP medicine. They will prescribe what's safest, especially to ensure a smooth delivery and recovery. Please don't take anything without medical advice.
Beta, for blood pressure medicines, you absolutely cannot rely on what anyone says online. Har pregnancy alag hoti hai. You need to talk to your gynac right away. Wohi aapko best aur safe medicine bata payengi, jo aapke liye theek hogi.
Just like my thyroid medicine was carefully monitored during pregnancy, BP medicine also needs proper doctor supervision. Don't take any chances, please discuss this with your doctor immediately. They will prescribe what is safe and adjust dosage as needed.
Oh, I totally understand your concern about medicines during pregnancy, it's so natural to worry about the baby. This is absolutely something only your doctor can tell you. Please, trust your gynaecologist completely on this, they know best what's safe for both of you.
