My lower back has been killing me lately, im in 7th month now. Sitting for long or standing both hurt. What did u all do to get some relief, any small things that actually helped?
Back pain is so common as the belly grows. Sit with back support, dont stand too long, and sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees. A warm (not hot) compress helped me. Avoid heels. If pain is severe or with any other symptoms, tell your gynac.
Yaar back pain is the worst actually. A pregnancy pillow changed my life, no joke. Also avoid flat slippers and high heels both, go for something with mild support. Warm sek karo evening mein, relax ho jata hai.
Beta light malish with warm til oil se thoda aaram milta hai, gentle hi karwana. Posture seedhi rakho aur heavy uthana band. Garam paani ka sek bhi theek hai but bahut garam nahi. Agar dard zyada ho to doctor ko zaroor dikhao.
Sitting all day at work killed my back. What helped was a small cushion behind my lower back, getting up every hour to walk a bit, and not carrying heavy bags. Small things but they add up when you are short on time.
Some gentle prenatal yoga stretches really helped my lower back, but I only did them after my doctor okayed it. The cat cow stretch was a lifesaver for me. Walking and good posture too. Please get clearance before any exercise though.
