Since yesterday i have loose motions and its happened like 4-5 times, im in my second trimester. Scared to take anything random na, planning to call my gynac tomorrow but wanted to know what worked for you all safely.
The most important thing is hydration, keep taking ORS and clear fluids. Light bland food like khichdi and banana helps. Dont pop any random medicine, and if it's frequent or you feel dehydrated, your gynac should know.
Please dont take any anti diarrhea medicine on your own during pregnancy, check with your gynac first. The main thing is to stay hydrated with ORS and fluids so you dont get dehydrated. If it's severe, has blood, or comes with fever or cramps, call your doctor right away.
For mild loose motions beta, ORS, coconut water, curd rice and banana are the safe old remedies we always used. Keep sipping fluids so you dont go weak. But if it doesnt settle in a day or you feel very tired, do see the doctor.
