What can you take for acid reflux during pregnancy?
Second trimester now and the burning after meals is killing me, specially at night when i lie down. I dont want to take anything without asking my doctor first but wanted to know what worked for you all. Anyone found something safe that actually helped?
Pls dont take any antacid on your own yaar. I made that mistake early on. Ask your gynac, she will tell you a safe one. Mine prescribed something and it worked fine.
Cold milk and coconut water gave me relief honestly. Eat small meals, dont lie down right after eating, keep your head a bit raised at night. For medicine always check with doc, dont guess.
Haan acidity toh bahut hoti hai na pregnancy mein. Thanda doodh peeti thi main, aur raat ko thoda jaldi khaana kha leti thi. Medicine wali baat doctor se confirm karo, apne se mat lo.
Thanda doodh and a little jeera water helped my daughter a lot during her pregnancy. Avoid too spicy and oily food. If it's burning very badly though, doctor se hi poocho beta.
Don't stress too much over it, it's super common. Banana and cold milk were my go to. But ya for actual tablets just message your doc, they have safe options for pregnancy.
Reflux was bad for me too. Small portions and avoiding fried stuff helped. Just be a little careful with sugary drinks if you watch your sugar like me. Whatever medicine, only what gynac approves.
