What causes baby heart rate to drop during pregnancy?
At my last scan they mentioned baby's heart rate was on lower side and im a bit worried since then. They told me to come back for another check. Just trying to understand what can cause this, anyone had similar?
My doctor said during scans or labour a temporary dip can sometimes happen and isnt always alarming, depends on context. But anything consistent they investigate for cord, placenta or oxygen reasons. Definitely a doctor's call, not something to self assess.
I understand this sounds frightening beta. The good thing is doctors track this carefully at every visit. If you have a worry about a recent scan, just call them and ask, they will explain.
This is something only ur doctor should evaluate honestly. In my case they monitored closely and there were many possible reasons like cord position or low fluid. Please dont try to figure it out from internet, get it checked properly.
