I am only 6 weeks and already getting lower back ache by evening. I thought back pain comes later when tummy grows, so I am confused. Did anyone have it this early?
Beta in early days the body is softening up the joints, so a little back ache is common. A warm cloth or gentle warm oil massage on the lower back gives relief, we always did that at home. But if the pain is strong or comes with bleeding, then straight to the doctor, dont wait.
I had this so early and got worried it was a bad sign. Turned out it's the hormones and posture changing. Did others feel it this soon? My gynac said mild ache is normal but told me to call if it gets severe or with any bleeding, so I keep that in mind.
My doctor said early back pain is mostly from the hormone relaxin, which loosens your joints and ligaments to prepare the body. Add the changing posture and it strains the lower back. She said mild ache is normal but severe pain or pain with bleeding should always be reported.
Sitting all day at work made mine worse. The cause is hormonal plus posture, so what helped me was getting up every hour, a small cushion behind my back, and not slouching at the desk. Realistic small fixes. If it ever turned sharp I'd have called my doctor though.
Hormones loosening everything plus the body adjusting, that's the usual cause early on. What helped me was sitting with back support, not standing too long, and a warm bag on the lower back. Avoid heels too. If the pain is sharp or one sided though, get it checked.
