Im about 6 weeks and saw some light spotting today, got really scared honestly. I have a gynac appointment booked for tomorrow but till then my mind is going to all kinds of places. Did any of you have spotting early on, what was the reason?
Having lost a pregnancy before, I never take bleeding lightly. Some causes are minor but please call your gynac the moment you see it, even spotting. Getting checked quickly gave me peace, dont sit and worry alone.
Bleeding can have many causes and only your doctor can find out which one it is for you. Heavy bleeding, clots or strong cramps need urgent attention. Please go in rather than searching reasons online.
My doctor said early bleeding can be from implantation, a sensitive cervix or other reasons, often harmless but sometimes serious. She stressed that any bleeding should be reported, especially if heavy or with pain. Only a scan and exam can tell the exact cause, so dont guess.
