I saw spotting today and my heart just sank. I am waiting for my gynac to call back, but I keep wondering what all can cause it. Did anyone have bleeding and later normal scan?
I would have spiralled if this happened to me, so i totally get the worry. The thing is the causes range a lot so guessing only makes anxiety worse. Just call your doctor and let them check, that gives real peace of mind.
My gynac explained light spotting can happen early from implantation or after a scan, and is sometimes harmless. But it can also signal something serious. Thats why she said always report any bleeding immediately so they can check.

Please dont take any bleeding lightly, i say this gently from my own painful experience. Sometimes its nothing, but only the doctor can tell. Call them or go in right away if you see blood, ok. Thinking of you.
There can be many reasons, some minor like implantation spotting early on and some that need urgent attention. Honestly any bleeding in pregnancy you should call your doctor straight away, dont wait to figure out the cause yourself.
