This has become a daily struggle for me since 2nd trimester started, bohot uncomfortable. Why does pregnancy make it so bad? Anyone else dealing with the same na?
When I was staying with my parents, my mother used to give me warm milk with a spoon of ghee at night. She said the progesterone hormones dry up the body, and this simple home remedy helped me so much. Try to eat fresh green vegetables daily.
Your digestion naturally slows down so that the body can absorb maximum nutrients for the baby. It's a positive sign that your body is working hard! Try to add high-fiber foods like oats and apples to your daily diet.
I am facing this so badly right now in my second trimester, especially after starting my iron supplements. Does anyone else feel like their stomach is completely jammed? What safe remedies did your doctors suggest?
Oh sweetheart, I totally understand how frustrating and uncomfortable this is! The pregnancy hormone progesterone slows down your digestion, which causes this. Please drink lots of warm water and take care of yourself.
Actually it is the iron tablets and progesterone playing games with our system, yaar. I had to literally double my water intake to feel normal. Ask your gynac for a safe stool softener if it gets too painful.
It's basically a lovely mix of high hormones and those heavy iron tablets your doctor gives you! I literally spent half my second trimester sitting in the washroom praying. Eat papayas if your doc allows, and drink warm water like it's your job.
