My period is 10 days late but the test came negative, twice. Now im confused matlab if it's not pregnancy then what else could be delaying it? Stress maybe? Anyone else had this, pls share.
In my experience, extreme stress at work or sudden weight loss has delayed my period by almost two weeks before. I once thought I was pregnant but it was just lifestyle changes. Everyone's body reacts differently to stress.
Dude, don't stress too much! Sometimes just worrying about a delayed period can delay it even more, ironical right? Stress, hormonal ups and downs, or even a simple viral fever can throw your cycle off track.
With a hectic job and sleepless nights, my periods used to get delayed all the time due to stress and high cortisol. Lack of sleep and poor nutrition really take a toll on our cycles. Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule and eat balanced meals.
Stress, thyroid imbalances, or even a sudden change in diet can easily delay your period. During my normal delivery recovery, my cycle took months to become regular again. Stay positive and give your body some time to settle.
As someone with PCOS, my periods were always delayed by weeks due to hormonal imbalances and cysts. If this is happening regularly, it could be PCOS or thyroid-related. It's best to get a simple pelvic ultrasound and thyroid test done to be sure.
While minor delays can happen due to stress or exhaustion, a long delay should always be evaluated by a professional. If you have missed your period for over 10 days and tests are negative, please consult your gynac to check for underlying hormonal issues.
