Between changing diapers and trying to sleep, I barely remember my dry lips phase, but oh god, it was bad! It's mostly because the baby sucks up all your hydration. Keep a lip balm in every room and drink water like it’s your job.

Your body is working so hard to support your baby, and dehydration can happen very quickly, leading to dry lips. Try to drink plenty of warm water and apply pure ghee or coconut oil on your lips. Please take care of yourself, you are doing a wonderful job.
Dry lips are a classic sign of dehydration and hormonal changes during pregnancy. You need to increase your daily water intake to at least 3 liters. Avoid licking your lips as saliva actually dries them out more.
I mentioned dry lips to the nurse at my premium clinic, and she said it's very common due to increased blood volume and dehydration. She recommended drinking coconut water daily and using a pregnancy-safe natural lip butter. Definitely ask your doctor if it persists.
