I'm running a slight fever since last night and im a little anxious about what could be causing it. First pregnancy so everything makes me nervous. Will def call my gynac but wanted to hear from others too.
Fever can come from various infections and high fever especially needs attention in pregnancy. I went in when mine spiked and they found a urine infection. Please contact your doctor rather than waiting it out.
Usually it's an infection like a cold, throat or urine infection causing the fever. Rest and fluids help, but fever in pregnancy should be treated, not ignored. Please don't take any medicine without your gynac's okay.
Beta, for a mild rise, rest and lots of warm fluids help. But fever in this condition isn't to be taken lightly. Don't delay seeing the doctor, especially if it goes high.
