Almost every night around 3am i wake up with this sharp cramp in my calf, it scares me and takes a while to settle. Im 28 weeks. Why does this keep happening at night only?
My doctor said night leg cramps are common and often linked to the extra weight, circulation changes and sometimes low calcium or magnesium. She suggested gentle calf stretches before bed and staying hydrated. If cramps are very frequent, she said to mention it so they can check levels.
Mere saath bhi these woke me up almost nightly in the last months. I started keeping my legs slightly raised on a pillow and drinking more water. It got better, hang in there yaar.
Those midnight calf cramps are the worst, I had them in both pregnancies. Stretching the calf, flexing the foot upward, and a warm compress helped instantly. Staying hydrated and not pointing your toes in sleep reduced them for me.
Haan na, raat ko leg cramps bahut hote hain, mere saath bhi hua. Calf ko gently stretch karo aur paani zyada piyo. Agar bahut zyada ho to doctor se calcium check karva lo.
