These last few nights i keep waking up with bad cramps in my calves, it hurts so much. Im in my second trimester now. Why does this suddenly start in pregnancy?
My gynac explained its often the pressure on nerves and blood vessels plus mineral changes like calcium and magnesium. She told me to hydrate, stretch, and not point my toes hard. Worked for me mostly.
Beta in our time we just massaged the legs with warm oil at night and it gave so much relief. Drink milk and keep your legs slightly raised on a pillow. But if pain is sharp or one leg swells, show the doctor.
My doc said gentle stretching and a short walk really helped my night cramps. Also staying hydrated made a big difference for me. Just do whatever movement your gynac has cleared, dont overdo.
Leg cramps are super common, usually from the extra weight, less calcium or low hydration. Drink enough water and stretch your calves before bed. If they get very bad, mention it to your doc for calcium check.
Mere saath bhi raat me bahut hota tha. Thoda paani jyada piyo aur sone se pehle pair seedha karke stretch karo, aaram milta hai. Jyada ho to doctor ko bol dena.
