What causes moles to suddenly appear during pregnancy?

Im in my 5th month and ive noticed two new tiny moles on my neck that werent there before. Plus some old ones look a bit darker now. Is this just a pregnancy thing or should i be worried? anyone else got new moles?

Mostly its harmless pigmentation from hormones. But if any mole looks odd, grows fast, or changes colour, please show it to a doctor. Better to get those checked than ignore na.

My doctor said its the pregnancy hormones increasing pigmentation, so moles and dark patches can appear or darken. Its usually harmless and many fade after delivery. But if a mole changes shape, size or bleeds, get it checked just to be safe.

I noticed new little moles and a dark line on my tummy and i felt so confused about my changing body. Turned out its all just hormones. Most of mine faded after the baby came, so dont worry.
