Im 7 weeks and the nausea is honestly worse in the evenings for me, not even mornings. Just curious why this even happens in pregnancy. Anyone know what's behind it?
Its the hormones changing in early months, my amma said the same and gave me lemon rice and ginger water which eased it a bit. Small frequent meals help. If it gets too severe though, do mention to your doctor.
My doctor said its mainly the surge in pregnancy hormones, especially hcg, that triggers the nausea. It usually peaks in the first trimester and eases by around 12 14 weeks for most. Smells and empty stomach make it worse.
Its hormonal and very common, but if youre vomiting many times a day and cant hold down liquids, please dont tough it out, see your gynac. That can lead to dehydration and they can help with it safely.
Its the hormones doing their thing, and trust me I know how rough it is, mine lasted way past mornings. What helped me was eating small bites often, never letting my stomach go empty, and ginger or lemon to sniff. Hang in there.
Hormones mainly. Some women get it bad, some barely feel it, no rule. Keep a biscuit by your bed and eat before getting up, that simple trick reduced mine a lot. If you cant keep any food or water down, tell your doc.
